Every student at Ohio State can pursue global education, which fosters engagement in intercultural academic opportunities abroad, virtually and domestically. An education abroad experience helps a student gain critical thinking skills, technical expertise and global awareness, and may change perspectives about the world in which we live. Education abroad allows for cultivation of cross-cultural communication skills, gaining confidence navigating an international setting and an understanding of the international dimensions of a field of study.
