Make an Impact! Volunteer as a STEP Expo Reviewer

The Second-year Transformational Experience Program (STEP) is hosting its biannual Dr. Javaune Adams-Gaston STEP Expo on Monday, November 16, 2026, in the Ohio Union’s Archie M. Griffin Grand Ballroom.

Students will present posters highlighting their STEP Signature Projects and reflect on the academic, professional and personal transformations they experienced through their participation. Six one-hour presentation sessions will be offered throughout the day beginning at 10:30 a.m., 12 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 3 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.

STEP invites Ohio State faculty and staff to serve as reviewers during one or more sessions. Reviewers will engage with a small number of student presenters in reflective conversations about their projects. There is no formal evaluation component, and no prior STEP experience is required. Reviewer guidance will be provided to help facilitate meaningful conversations with students.
